STAROBW2024 – Badminton Tournament (MEN’S DOUBLE)

Bagi meneruskan kesinambungan STAR Old Boys Weekend untuk sesi 2024, kami selaku jawatankuasa kerja STAROBW2024 membawakan Badminton Tournament (MEN’S DOUBLE).
Kami mencari 16 pasangan jaguh untuk berentap.
Dijemput semua wakil-wakil batch untuk sertai kejohanan ini!
Badminton Tournament ini akan diadakan seperti berikut :
Tarikh : 25 November 2023 (Sabtu)
Tempat : Setapak Badminton Centre
Waktu : 8.30 Pagi – 2.30 Petang
Registration Fee: RM80/pair
Tournament Format [English]
Category: Men’s Double.
Scoring:
i) Each game is played to 21 points, with players scoring a point whenever they win a rally regardless of whether they served. A match is the best of three games. A pair must win two games (of 21 points each) to win the match.
ii) If the score ties at 20-20, then the game continues until one side gains a two-point lead, except when there is a tie at 29-29, in which the game goes to a golden point of 30. Whoever scores this point wins the game.
iii) The players change ends at the start of the second game; if the match reaches a third game, they change ends both at the start of the game and when the leading player’s or pair’s score reaches 11 points.
Group Stage:
4 teams or pairs in each group. Single round-robin (i.e. each pair plays every other pair in the same group once).
Semi Final:
Top pair in each group will advance to semi-final.
